An Album from Grandfather

 

 

人物或身體形象的保留能給人一種存在的情感投射，這對我來說是重要的，也是我大量使用衣物作為媒材的主要原因。【外公的相簿】系列中的照片裡、將人物衣著或布料著色，並將色塊立體化，一方面是藉由這個動作確認逝者的存在，同時透過這些照片尋找我母親成長的過程與自己互相對照。

 

The retention of people or body image can give us an emotional projection of existence. To me, this is important, it also explains why I use clothes as medium in my oeuvre. In the photo series of “An Album from Grandfather”, I color the clothes of the figure, and make them three-dimensional. By this action, I can acknowledge the existence of the dead, furthermore, to seek the growing process of my mother and to compare with my own.
